Scottish Grown Flowers

The design team at Something Special Flowers are delighted to be able to offer quality Scottish grown flowers.

This is another step along the road to an Eco friendly future for this Multi Award Winning Florist business. Having introduced their ever popular Eco vase designs in the last year, the buying team have been researching the local market for Scottish growers and over the last month have been testing the vase life and quality of their discoveries.

"We are delighted to have found quality growers on our doorstep in Perthshire, Angus and Tayside who are producing quality blooms and are experienced and very knowledgeable in horticulture and especially growing flowers."

Jillian is delighted to have picked up our first selection of local grown flowers, direct from the farm.  Having experienced winning GOLD at RHS Chelsea Flowers Show, Jillian knows exactly what is required form each stem of these fresh flowers and appreciates the care and skill that has gone into growing them to this standard.

The Scottish flower growing industry is relatively new and our Scottish climate can be challenging, but we can see that it is in good hands and will continue to flourish.

The available stock changes from week to week as varieties come into the perfect stage of bloom for cutting and so is constantly varying,but always beautiful.
