Leslie Street Art Trail
When Brendan Collins heard about Jillian's RHS Chelsea GOLD Medal winning dress made from flowers, he just had to paint it. He was working on a project and had the vision of painting a model in the dress, to represent the mystical image of a flower nymph, emerging from the surrounding foliage by the water.
Though the dress was never designed to be worn, our daughter, Ellis was up for the challenge and we carefully dropped her into the dress and set the scene down by the river Ericht where Brendan captured the image.
This was back in 2014 and the fresh florals have since degraded but Brendan has captured the scene and that Gold Medal winning dress as only a fine Artist of the greatest repute can.
Brendan displayed his work recently and we took the opportunity to capture Ellis and Brendan's paintings together.
We are pleased to support the Leslie Street Arts trail running from 7th to 15th September and are so thankful to Brendan for allowing us to display his fabulous work.
Pop down if you can, Jillian will be around to answer your questions as she works and give an insight of her RHS Chelsea adventures.
